Uncle Dan Pays a Visit

It's been a while since Hollie's brother Daniel has seen David, but the two got along as well as if they had just seen each other yesterday. We all think David gets his eyes, lashes included, from Daniel.

A Thurdsay with Jack

David had his first play date today with Jack, the son of a friend of Hollie's from The Tennessean. Jack is 4 months younger than David so it was shocking to see how much David has grown in such a short time. You can check out more photos on Jack's blog at www.gilliamlife.blogspot.com. Plus, Jack's mom Sarah is a photograher so you can see her super professional pics of the two of them together! We both love how Jack decided to stick his finger in David's ear (bottom picture). I guess that's what friends are for.

Hollie is really trying to get David to crawl, but as you can see he gets tired pretty quickly.

Go Cubbies!

Nana bought David a Cubs hat on her big trip to Chicago, Hollie's home turf. Bryan and Hollie can't wait to take him to a game at Wrigley Field!

Too Cute

Hollie and Bryan just can't get enough of David. He get's more personality and is growing so much every day.

Nap Time

Nothing would stop David from hanging out with his dad ... not even a nap.

Sippin' from a Cup

David is fascinated by Bryan's coffee cup every morning, so we thought it was time he got one of his own. He figured out how it worked pretty quickly, but got water more down the front of his shirt than in his mouth.

David's Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa David stopped by to see how big he is getting. It's hard to believe how much he has grown already!

Happy Eater

David loves eating but this was his first time with zwiebeck toast, which he had after his carrots but before his bath. He was a little skeptical at first but then got into it.

Finally ... A New Post!

Sorry about the lack of posts recently. Hollie was without a flash drive but we are now back in business.
The other day David rolled from his back to his belly for the first time and discovered a new favorite way to sleep ... on his side!

Spoon Fed

David is learning how to use a spoon, so Hollie let him get as messy as he wanted while he fed himself applesauce.

David's Blocks

David is ready for some more developmental toys, so Hollie got him some squishy blocks to play with. He really likes to chew on them more than anything, but soon he'll be piling them up and knocking them over.

Mommy and Me

David still had to have shots today, so Hollie was able to hang out with him all day. He took it like a big boy though.

Sitting For Real

David can sit on his own for longer periods of time every day. He will fall over, so you have to keep a close eye on him.

New Food

David had his 6 month checkup today and the doctor said he could start gnawing on teething cookies and eating more foods. So of course Hollie ran right out to get David some teething cookies and more foods. He loved it!

Dad's Chest

There isn't a place David would rather be than against his dad's chest when he wakes up.

Kevin's Birthday

Everyone met over at Nana's for Uncle Kevin's birthday. David loves any chance to see his cousin Mariah!

Saturday Morning

David had some pears and then hung out with Dad on the couch. Typical Saturday morning.
