Mariah and Bryan got to spend some time alone together at Wonderworks, an interactive children's museum.

Day 2 - Relaxing

After walking around, we thought a nap was in order, but David already had one in his stroller, so he was ready to play.



David loves hanging out with his cousin Mariah.

Day 2 - Walking Around the Old Mill

David woke up ready to get going. Daddy was still a little sleepy.


We walked around the old fashioned candy store and David really was not too impressed.


Mariah got some taffy and an old fashined Sprite in a glass bottle.

David was a little tuckered out, so we took the time to grab lunch before Nana and Mariah went to Dollywood and Bryan, Hollie and David went back to the cabin.

Our Gatlinburg Weekend - Day 1

We had to get Mariah and David up pretty early to hit the road, but they were excited to start the trip.


When we got to the cabin, David, Mariah and Bryan went to the pool, where David promptly fell asleep on Dad's shoulder after getting a little upset. He was very tired.


When we were leaving the pool Nana was just arriving, and that made David feel a lot better.


We just hung out at the cabin the rest of the night while Bryan and Mariah got pizza for everyone. David is really moving around alot and for some reason always has that one little pointer finger up.

David likes to spend his morning crawling over daddy and trying to wake him up.

First Cookout

Not only was it our first grilling out night of the the summer, it is the first time Hollie and Bryan have cooked out at home ever. If you can't tell by the photo, this pork loin was delicious. Thank goodness Rosie was here to help. She also gave David another cut for our big vacation in Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge this weekend.

Sunday Paper

David helped Hollie look through the flyers and try to think about what we might want to get Bryan for Father's Day.

Let's Get to Work

David thought he would match Audie and wear a red shirt this day.

Trouble Twins

These two look like they are up to no good. But Spicy's wagging tail was enough to get David to get close enough to try and pull it. Yay motivation! After that David was really learning to get up on his hands and knees. After that he was kind of stuck.

Peek A Boo

All I can say is David is just the cutest!

Also ... Happy Birthday!

Hollie turned 30 on Memorial Day and was on the computer for most of it trying to make a deadline. But Bryan and Mariah brought her a cake, with all 30 candles. It was hot.
Later she got to hang with David, and that was the best present.

First Frozen Treat

We let David have a little bit of this popcicle/ice cream treat. He really didn't want to give it up. But once he got another diddy ride he was fine.

Happy Memorial Day!

We hosted a rained-out cookout for Memorial Day, but the good company made up for the fact we could not hang out in the back yard.

Helping Mommy Work

David gives some good input as Hollie works on an assignment.
