Also ... Happy Birthday!

Hollie turned 30 on Memorial Day and was on the computer for most of it trying to make a deadline. But Bryan and Mariah brought her a cake, with all 30 candles. It was hot.
Later she got to hang with David, and that was the best present.

First Frozen Treat

We let David have a little bit of this popcicle/ice cream treat. He really didn't want to give it up. But once he got another diddy ride he was fine.

Happy Memorial Day!

We hosted a rained-out cookout for Memorial Day, but the good company made up for the fact we could not hang out in the back yard.

Helping Mommy Work

David gives some good input as Hollie works on an assignment.

The New Gate

Here is our new gate. Look closer ....

David loves it!

Diddy Rides

When David says Daddy, it sounds more like Diddy.

Outdoor Book Club

One of Hollie's favorite things to do as a kid was lay outside on a blanket and read for hours. David seem pretty into it too. Here he is reading a puppet book he got for Christmas from Nana.

Playing With Dad

Bryan does this peekaboo game with David that they both love to play. David is in yet another cute outfit from Aunt Kathy.

The Other Ones

We have not gotten rid of the dogs, and here's proof. But our entire yard is now fenced in so they can stay outside all the time! Of course, now that they can they want to be inside.

New Swing

As promised, we got David a swing after he had so much fun on the one at the zoo. And as we hoped, he loved it. Thanks to Aunt Rosie for buying an outift that was way too big so we could return it for the swing. Please ignore the interior of the shed.

Brighton Beach Memoirs

Another day outside. We think this outfit looks like an old timey bathing suit.

Yard Work

Bryan hanging out with David in the yard.

Go Detroit?

David got a bunch of new clothes from Aunt Kathy in Michigan. David isn't sure about the Detroit gear ...

Nakey!

When we got home from dinner with Nan, David just wanted to let it all hang out. Yes, the sheets got wet.

Hangin' With Sugars

David likes spending time with Sugars. This was right before we got ready to meet Nana to celebrate Bryan's birthday.

Hide and Seek

This is where David ended up after Hollie left him alone on his playmat for a few minutes. So she put him in the crib so he would be a little more contained.

Dad's Birthday

Last week was Bryan's birthday and we had dinner at his dad's house. David wore his PJs so he could go right to bed when he got home. He really liked trying to ride around on the little bike.

Tuckered Out

All in all, David's first trip to the zoo was great and it really wore him out. Can't wait till next time!

Meercats

Hollie got this photo from really far away, but it is obvious David really loved seeing those meercats.

Gentle Giraffes

By far the best animal display we saw ... I think David even looked at them. Maria was really into it. So cute!

Daddy Ride

Sitting on dad's shoulders is much more fun than looking at animals. Our friends Misty and Ryan joined us with their daughter Maria.
